In summer 2008, I did a road trip to discover the Balkans. I started off in Split with a brief excursion to the holiday island of Hvar. Back on the mainland, I drove inland to Banka Luka in Bosnia, then on to Sarajavo. I continued on through the mountainous part of Montenegro to Kosovo. Then I drove through North Macedonia to Albania, reaching the coast again. The last part of my drive was along the sea back into Montenegro and ending in Dubrovnik.
