I travelled through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab in 2006. This was a window of time that offered a great welcome to visitors. My trip took me to the Khyber mountains, where I could see the valley towards Jalalabad. I wandered in the busy market streets of Peshawar. Finally, I admired the stunning architecture of Lahore.
