From Georgia to Ukraine

One year ago, I was in Vilnius watching the Georgian "velvet and flower revolution" on CNN. Today, now working in London, I watch as Ukraine goes through its own (with how much CIA money?). While London is far less attractive to me than Vilnius, in recent days I have met fabulous people from Kazakhstan and Kirgizistan, turning the insipid English life into a wealth of friendliness (remembering my visit to the Lake Ladoga region).

This winter, I am planning to travel with my two crazy cousins to Hyeres, a town of palm trees and casual fun in the South of France. The mission is top secret, but I will try to add a photo gallery when I return.
