The Chief of this longhouse in Temburong was keen to pose for us in his traditional outfit. At 75, he still looked like a boy when showing off the sword he'd made for himself. He mentioned he'd used it long ago to cut off a few heads.

The Chief of this longhouse in Temburong was keen to pose for us in his traditional outfit. At 75, he still looked like a boy when showing off the sword he'd made for himself. He mentioned he'd used it long ago to cut off a few heads.
▪ Started the year with a sobering visit to South Beirut
▪ Left Europe, said goodbye to friends, stopping at London's Barfly (miss it!)
▪ Tossed my life in the wind to relocate to unknown South East Asia
▪ Started exploring by driving along Borneo's north coast to Kota Kinabalu
▪ Endless good times with so many new people!
▪ Memorable European breaks to Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia
▪ "Army" experience in the jungle alongside the wonderful Gurkhas
▪ Visited Central America, fantastic time in Colombia
▪ Celebrated the arrival of 2010 in Lang Kwai Fong, Hong Kong
