- "If the Absolute Reality is omnipotent, omnipresent, the source of everything, why did it bother to create the universe in the first place?", asks the seeker of purpose.
- "For the sake of purposeful play. All life is the purposeful play of the Creator.", answers the teacher.
(leaves a bad aftertaste... would somebody define purpose for me? I hear somebody say, "There is no spoon.")
having ever been entertained. The mysteries of 'Is-ness' or 'Am-ness' would not then be particular to the human situation alone, perhaps 'God' wonders too. He did say, according to Judeo/Christian scripture, in Genesis or Exodus I believe - 'I am that I am'. That's fairly imprecise. Wasn't that what Popeye, the Sailor Man said - 'I yam what I yam' or something like?
